Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the role of managers’ digital skills in enhancing and ensuring the success of organizational learning in technology-driven organizations. This research adopted a qualitative systematic review design using inductive content analysis. The study population included all scholarly works related to digital skills and organizational learning, from which 16 peer-reviewed articles were selected based on inclusion criteria. Data were collected through a systematic review of international databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect, and analyzed using NVivo version 14. The analysis followed three stages: open, axial, and selective coding, leading to the extraction of main themes and categories. The results revealed that managers’ digital skills encompass data literacy, IT proficiency, technological creativity, digital critical thinking, and digital leadership, all of which significantly contribute to strengthening organizational learning. Digital organizational learning was characterized by agility, self-learning, digital knowledge sharing, and a culture of open learning. Furthermore, innovative organizational culture, IT infrastructure, and top management support were identified as key enablers of digital learning success, ultimately resulting in improved organizational performance, innovation development, and intellectual capital growth. The study concluded that managers’ digital skills are not merely technical competencies but strategic capabilities essential for fostering, sustaining, and enhancing organizational learning. Organizations investing in developing digital leadership skills achieve higher levels of agility, innovation, and digital resilience.
